JEWLSCPH were showing some love by sending me a very, very neat necklace. the name stands for jewels copenhagen and they offer real gold-plated and silver jewellery with delicate details like mine has. my necklace symbolises tolerance, the chain carrying symbols for christianity, judaism, and islam.

it's nice owning a piece of golden jewellery that won't leave greenish stains on your neck when the weather is as hot as it was throughout the week. thanks to mai manniche, the designer, and julia for this lovely piece.

i've been sporting this updo quite a lot recently and i thought i'd share it with you. if you too suffer from backcomb-phobia, here's what you need to do: get a hair donut - squeeze it together - pull a long hairband around it, in the same colour as the donut - place sqeezed hair donut (which is now a long-ish hair bun) under top hair - pin it to your head - twist remaining hair into a real bun, or whatever takes your fancy. be fabulous.

oh i was dead dead excited last friday for the postman to turn up, because i knew he would turn up with a little package for me containing the best ballet-related film since the red shoes and all that jazz: BLACK SWAN!!!!ONEONEELEVEN. i sat down like a right loner because i couldn't wait for anybody to be free to watch it with me and so i enjoyed natalie portman and sarah lane twirling around in beautiful costumes all by myself.
a few weeks ago, i wore something that nina would approve of.

i will not post a song this time because part of the inspiration for this look was keiko lynn's hair tutorial. so glad i know now how she gets to look so pretty. well she looks pretty even without the messy bun. i had a go at it and it turned out OK. i have developped a backcomb-phobia, because i'm so afraid i might ruin my hair by excessive backcombing, which is why my messy bun is not as fluffy.
anyways, i also got a pretty nifty skirt and super cute birds on a twig necklace from new look.

the hipster in me unfortunately does not own an iphone or ipod. well no, i should say i don't own any of those, not just one part of me. my boyfriend has one though, so i made him install instagram, so i can spam you guys (and my friends on facebook) with all kinds of square-shaped goodness.
