I don't think you're ever a 100% in the room

dear readers, chères lectrices,

please excuse the delay, but it's been a very busy week. as i said last time, my boyfriend moved in with me last week, and i really enjoy it so far, as much as i could with all the uni work i had to do as well. handed in my other paper yesterday, what a relief. the work never stops and so i will have to give a presentation on monday, write a handout today, and gradually start working on my new papers. one, i know, will be about german with a mancunian accent, and my object of research is very close to me now!

excusez le retard s'il-vous-plaît, mais c'était une semaine assez chargée. comme j'ai dit la dernière fois, mon mec s'est installé chez moi, et j'adore jusqu'ici, tant que mes devoirs me permettent d'en profiter. j'ai rendu mon autre mini-mémoire, quel soulagement! les devoirs ne s'arrêtent jamais et donc j'ai une présentation à préparer et à faire le lundi, écrire le handout aujourd'hui et me mettre à préparer mes nouveaux mini-mémoires. l'un des deux, je sais, traitera de parler allemand avec un accent mancunien. mon objet de récherche est tout proche maintenant!

as you can see in the background, my flat has got messier. but it's really alright seeing as i didn't make much space for richard. he is helping me out loads, getting the shopping done, washing the dishes, cooking for me. but he's also counting how many kinder bars i eat. we're loving our thug life though, peace out.

comme vous voyez, mon appartement est beaucoup plus dans un désordre, mais ca va puis que je n'avais pas rangé un gros espace pour richard. il m'aide beaucoup, il fait les courses, il fait la vaselle, il prépare des repas pour moi. mais aussi, il compte combien de barres kinder je mange. on aime cette thug life, peace out.

ps: bought a new pair of black boots today. they look very much like my other ones, but those are a bit damaged anyway. treating myself, you know. and i will treat rich later with a nigella lawson recipe. tagliatelle and champignons and stuff. i'm a lovely housewife innit.
