oh to keep her caged would just delay the spring

my muse has left me. i have been getting on semi-well with my paper during the last few days, but today, today is one of those days when you confront yourself with a pile of books, or any other task, and can't help but getting off your chair a million times, because you feel you should be doing something else. in my case, i felt like tidying up my desk, which was a great idea. and sorting out old newspapers and mags for the bin. oh the laziness. the blessed damozel i am not.

yesterday, i went to collect my little ebay treasures from a dollhouse shop. no it is not a tiny doll-size shop, it is a real full-size shop selling dollhouse items. such a lovely thing to walk into, i'm telling you. so many eenie weenie cute things placed orderly on lovely ikea billy shelves. the shop lady was really friendly as well and, naturally, asked me if i had a dollhouse. i said no, but hopefully as soon as i have a daughter. she's gonna get a flipping dollhouse whether she wants it or not! just so i can buy all these tiny little bits of furniture and doll leasure. i was honest and told the shop lady that i wanted the pieces i've bought for making jewellery. she said she has another customer who makes earrings out of tiny tools. cute!
i had also bought 2 dollhouse mugs from another lady that came with the mail yesterday. here's what's become of all my treasures. oh by the way, the birdcage necklace is very much an exact copy of the one you can buy from the french factory. i'm sorry i can't afford their stuff, although it's divine and very original. i'm an honest copier. i found out about their jewellery on alix's blog, of course.

so far, i have only got round about a quarter of what my seminar paper is supposed to be. please send me inspiration, but not for necklaces and dresses and necklace boards/ holders and customising gloves... dreamy. well as i say, the best is yet to come, eh?!

oh they are so cute!
Dollhouse shops are just too much heaven, everything is so pretty and from my experience not too expensive, which is good!
My favourite is the teacup one as it looks like you can still drink out of it, multiple usage is good :D
Hope you can carry on making such sweet treasures!
