Letzte Woche hatte ich die Ehre, Anja Gockel, samt PR-Team, in Ihrem Atelier und Shop in der Alten Patrone in Mainz zu besuchen. Grund meines Besuchs war ein erstes Kennenlernen der Designerin, für mich natürlich sehr aufregend, da Anja (ihr kennt sie bestimmt von GNTM) für high-end Mode bekannt ist.. Dieses Mal war es nur eine kurze Stippvisite des Ateliers und des Verkaufraums, aber hoffentlich folgen noch einige Besuche, die mir Zeit bieten, euch mehr Einblicke in die Produktion zu gewähren. Obwohl es die alle Kollektionen bereits bis Größe 48 bzw. XL gibt, wird es bald eine neue Reihe von Kleidungsstücken geben, die bis Konfektionsgröße 52 erhältlich sein werden - mehr dazu gibt es hoffentlich bald an dieser Stelle.
Last week I had the honour of getting to visit Anja Gockel and her PR-staff at her shop and studio in Mainz. The reason I was invited to meet them was to get to know the Designer, which proved to be super exciting as Anja is famous for her high-end fashion, most prominently featured on Germany's Next Top Model. It was only a short visit this time but I'm hoping to come back to have more insights into the designing and production process. All of her pieces are already available up to a size 18/20/XL, but there will be a new collection that sizes up to 24 - I will keep you posted!
